Therapy provides a safe and sacred space to travel through the dark and painful crevices of our souls that we struggle to love.
As a psychologist, it is a true privilege and honor to be entrusted with people's stories and pain and to journey with them towards healing and growth. I have always enjoyed connecting with people on an authentic and deep level and being a psychologist provides a platform to help people connect with themselves and others in a transformative way.
I received my doctorate from Rosemead School of Psychology and completed trainings at community mental health clinics and university counseling centers. I was most recently employed at Humboldt State University Counseling and Psychological Services where I provided therapy for students struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and early-onset psychosis. I utilize techniques primarily from attachment theory, emotion-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
After someone has made the brave choice to pursue therapy, my goal is to help them feel heard and understood. As well, I hope to assist them with being open to the growth and healing that they may see ahead.
